Givenchy Spring Ready-to-Wear 2015 Collection

Black is in...

Givenchy putting together a spectacular runway bringing back the classic colour scheme of Black and White. Using beautiful chiffons with harsher silhouettes  and looks with lots of layering and dimensions.
You can also see the influence of light and feminine details of dare we say it Bondage. Very inspired by 50 Shades of Grey.

Loving this boots..

Favourite looks from the EMA awards 2014

Ariana Grande definitely gave everyone a big surprise letting her hair down on the red carpet in a long navy blue gown featuring key-hole cutouts. I think this is just what this rising pop star needed, a fresh and european inspired look. This gown highlights all of her attributes keeping it elegant with just a little touch of sass. We think the stylists hit the nail on the head with this look. As well as her second outfit a little more scandalous then the first however still more mature then what we are used to seeing her in. This lace bralette with the high waisted satin asymmetric and lace skirt is very in fashion at the moment, as us ourselves have designed similar looks. You just cant go wrong with black lace.

As for Kiesza wearing, what looks like multi a coloured feathered mini dress is one look where we are sitting on the fence as to if we love it or not. It did make it onto the best dressed list and it is Fendi but with the hair and the tanned heels all were seeing is Tucan Sam. It is a well suited dress for Kiesza and her style. As well as  the shape of the dress with the cut outs is quite flattering to her figure. Maybe it is just the colours used that is throwing us off. However it did make a splash on the red carpet and it did its job adding some excitement. I think you either love it or hate it all we know is Kiesza rocked it!

Part 2: After School Retreat

Can you imagine that this is our view on our drive to and from school, so much inspiration and beauty that surrounds us every single day.
We are two very lucky Canadian girls being able to embrace this beautiful town.
Giving us the perfect back drop for fun photo shoots like this one just because we can.
All black and gold everything as we let the baroque City of Modica do all the talking.

Fall Inspirations

For this fall season we are very inspired by the hard and soft  trend that is very popular at the moment. Were loving the gold and black looks inspired by Gucci. They do a fabulous job of putting together black leather with gold details. We think it makes for a very classy chic look. With an outfit  like this can only make you feel one way and that is powerful.

We are also fans of the large oversized sweaters paired with tight leggings leather skirts or tight fitted  jeans. This is everything we need as we get ready for another harsh Canadian winter and a not so cold sicilian one making it perfect for layering or wearing as is. Another inspiration of ours for this fall is Burberry who's collection is so warm cozy and elegant. We love the layered looks and use of beautifully coloured scarves and capes. We love that we are now not restricted to wear the classic black and darker colours for fall and winter but instead we can throw in these beautiful shades of blues and mix and match prints.
Fall is definitely a beautiful time for fashion.

First Stop: Venice

I can not tell you how much I love Venice. There is so much culture, art and history. I actually just arrived onboard that evening while the sunset over looked the islands and was ready to get out and explore this beautiful and enchanting city. This was my third time visiting this magnficent land built on canals and bridges and yet there are still many secret passages leading you to unknown, but exciting discoveries.

I was in a rush to get out which meant I needed to throw on something quick! At night it tends to be a little bit more chilly so I threw on my favorite black jumper and my "go-to shorts" of summer 2014. I also wanted to wear a pair of my black strappy heels for a more dressy feel, but opted to put on my brown sandals to be more comfortable, plus I knew it would be easier to walk around Venice due to the uneven pavements. My boyfriend and I walked around Palazzo Ducale passed Saint Mark's Basillica through Piazza San Marco until we ended up near the Grand Canal. That's when we decided to have dinner near the Rialto Bridge. It was perfect way to end the night drinking white wine and eating one of Venice's typical dish, Bigoli. Delicious!

Rated as one of the top destination in the world, Venice is definitely a must. A great romantic getaway I would say!

Can you believe that this city has 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges? AMAZING!

One of my fav movies was filmed here! Italian Job!
