Birthday in Paris

This year for my birthday, it was extra special. Not only I had a mini surprise get-together on the eve of my birthday, my surprise birthday gift from my amazing and thoughtful boyfriend was a 4-day trip to Paris! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
The moment I saw my breath made contact with the Parisian air, it was love at first sight. My whole face lit up with excitement. Minus the fact it was tremendously cold that day, it was the last thing that was on mind. All I wanted to do was walk around and take in everything Paris had to offer.  Every corner I viewed was better than the last one. I was in absolutely in awe. What made it even extraordinary was being able to share it with my love, in one of the most romantic cities in the world.

My babe! Thank you!

February Is Carnivale

Who doesn't enjoy dressing up and having fun with friends?
Carnivale in Italy is a huge winter festival that usually happens in the middle of February. Different types of festivities are celebrated throughout the towns of Italy. You can either discover large parades with extravagant floats, music festivals or tons of parties.
This year we decided to dress up as... you guessed it. #twoshells
We had our own D.I.Y moment, using our knowledge of pattern making from school, we constructed two shells and two oversized pearls. Dressed in all black, we created the greatest costume ever!
Although, we had a rainy carnivale, #twoshells did not let it damp their plans. Nicola hosted a small gathering with a few of our close friends. Enjoyed some baked brownies and delicious martinis and played a round of Kings. The night ended with girls starting their own little dance floor in Nicola's living room, which made our night!

Don't forget the name #TWOSHELLS

Erdem Spring Collection 2015

Erdem, so elegant, so whimsical,so delicate. As if you were walking around in an enchanted forest only wearing the leaves and flowers that surround you. Showing diversity in this collection by showing beautiful dresses that just hang and float around the body and then having the more tailored and classic looks. Going from light to dark and adding lace and chiffon and cottons that really tell the story and bring you into the world of Erdem.
Feminine Chic in white
Classic and structured in this grey cotton dress loving the cut out
covered in lace flowers not to mention these killer shoes
Floating in florals

Loving all of this can't wait for spring

#twoshells in the 6ix

This is our first time together in Toronto. It was very special for us to be able to unite in our homeland. Situated in the intersection of queen and spadina, the heart of Toronto and the city's fashion district we engaged ourselves to a mini photo shoot. Chilly as a December afternoon could be in downtown Toronto, Nicola managed to pull off her 3 inch black booties with her trendy half and half houndstooth patterned/ black skinnys that she made back in bella Sicilia, and to keep the look stylish instead of wearing an oversized jacket that may cover her intended look, Nicola decided to layer sweaters together keeping her overall outfit intact.

Toronto is a very creative and imaginative city, we as Torontonians embrace our muliti cultural and innovative artists. Therefore, we decided to walk around the back alleys of queen and spadina showing you the beautiful art display our city has to offer. Bold colours and interesting creatures are portrayed on the walls making us wonder the stories behind them. Stephanie kept her look cool, by throwing a pair of dark denim adding a black dress shirt and combining it with a navy laced top, putting her favourite leather jacket, to finish it off she accessorized by adding a circle faux fur scarf to block out the harsh winds.

Although, we didn't have enough time together we surely enjoyed our day spent in our city. The next time we're back in Toronto, we hope that it will be much warmer so we can display our amazing outfits and really show our amazing city.
