Birthday in Paris

This year for my birthday, it was extra special. Not only I had a mini surprise get-together on the eve of my birthday, my surprise birthday gift from my amazing and thoughtful boyfriend was a 4-day trip to Paris! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
The moment I saw my breath made contact with the Parisian air, it was love at first sight. My whole face lit up with excitement. Minus the fact it was tremendously cold that day, it was the last thing that was on mind. All I wanted to do was walk around and take in everything Paris had to offer.  Every corner I viewed was better than the last one. I was in absolutely in awe. What made it even extraordinary was being able to share it with my love, in one of the most romantic cities in the world.

My babe! Thank you!

Capri

Sometimes I can't help but feel unbelievably grateful to be living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. To have such history, culture, and beauty right outside your doorstep can sometimes be so overwhelming you forget to look. That is why my fiancee and I decided to take a road trip from Sicily to the Amalfi coast! A short 8 hours later we arrived in bellissima Sorrento! On one of our days discovering this stunning piece of earth, we decided to take a boat tour to the island of Capri. Having gone shopping the day before, I had the perfect attire for such an event. I decided to wear an almalfitano outfit made from olive green linen with loose-fitting lace details. It was just perfection. I paired this with my hair tied up in braids and pearl earrings. We discovered all the magical coves of the island and I even took a dip in the most famous blue grotto. Nothing could have been more perfect or more romantic than this day.

More to come on my road trip through the amalfi coast next stop Positano...

Castello Vicchiomaggio

Between Florence and Siena, Italy there lies Chianti.
What is Chianti known for you ask? Well, this tuscany region is famous for producing some of the best italian wine out there. I was fortunate to visit the Castello Vicchiomaggio winery. It was a beautiful villa and the view from the terrace overlooking the vivid green vineyard was spectacular! We gathered there for some lunch and drank their wine and enjoyed the good company surrounding us.  This is a place I would like to go back and have a romantic weekend getaway with my boyfriend, to sit by the pool or even the spacious balcony with a glass of white wine in the summer evening watching the sunset go down.
A simple grey t-shirt made my day with a pair a cute sandals.
