Erdem Spring Collection 2015

Erdem, so elegant, so whimsical,so delicate. As if you were walking around in an enchanted forest only wearing the leaves and flowers that surround you. Showing diversity in this collection by showing beautiful dresses that just hang and float around the body and then having the more tailored and classic looks. Going from light to dark and adding lace and chiffon and cottons that really tell the story and bring you into the world of Erdem.
Feminine Chic in white

Floating in florals

Loving all of this can't wait for spring

The iconic white dress

The first thing a girl thinks of when planning  her wedding is the man she is going to marry followed closely by the thought of that iconic dress. That dress that promises happiness, love and beauty. The dress you wear as you start the rest of your life. Well that moment is mine now. I  have found the man of my dreams, now it's time to find the dress to match! I have decided to design my own dress and have my teacher, a of master of her craft, create it. I thought I would start by drawing some inspiration from my favourite Bridal designers Berta Bridal from Israel and Sophia Tolli from Australia. Both create stunning and elegant bridal gowns.  My dream wedding gown is top to bottom lace, off the shoulder long sleeve, form fitting with a long train.

Capri

Sometimes I can't help but feel unbelievably grateful to be living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. To have such history, culture, and beauty right outside your doorstep can sometimes be so overwhelming you forget to look. That is why my fiancee and I decided to take a road trip from Sicily to the Amalfi coast! A short 8 hours later we arrived in bellissima Sorrento! On one of our days discovering this stunning piece of earth, we decided to take a boat tour to the island of Capri. Having gone shopping the day before, I had the perfect attire for such an event. I decided to wear an almalfitano outfit made from olive green linen with loose-fitting lace details. It was just perfection. I paired this with my hair tied up in braids and pearl earrings. We discovered all the magical coves of the island and I even took a dip in the most famous blue grotto. Nothing could have been more perfect or more romantic than this day.

More to come on my road trip through the amalfi coast next stop Positano...

DOLCE & GABBANA SS15

One of our favourite runway's from this years MFW was Dolce & Gabbana. We loved the sicilian inspired collection and the use of the bold red colour, it brings out another meaning to Spring/Summer. Usually, we would associate these colours for fall or winter, but D&G has definitely justified it here, you can wear it wherever, whenever and rock it!

These shoes are to die for!
The play of masculine femininity in these pieces are marvellous and so true to sicilian heritage having to be a strong women for your family but still feminine and sexy.

The beauty and elegance of this collection is just stunning!
Cannot wait till it arrives in spring.
