City Folk Not Country Mice...

Nothing like taking in the fresh sicilian air in the beautiful country side of Modica. This is one of the fun outings our school likes to organize we got to different agriturismo's which is a farm/restaurant which grows raises and cooks all the ingredients from there land, leaving us to try there specialties. Everything is so fresh and delicious. This Farm belonged to a fellow classmates and is used as a petting zoo to teach young children about animals and farming. We enjoyed handmade ravioli and caponata as well as home pickled olives and tomato spreads. It was all so delectable you could taste every ingredient. You really cant get more sicilian then this. As for us being city folk not country mice our interpretation of a going to the country is more chic then YEE-HA. Stephanie wearing ripped jeans and a long over sized white blouse was perfect classy and simple leaving her accessories to add the pops of colour like her sunshine yellow bag and coral pointy flats. As for Nicola did the best she could with her ruffled socks and sneakers and her elegant handmade dress made from seashell lace green fabric covering it up with a cropped cable knit sweater to take her from over dressed to country chic. What can we say we just cant blend into the scenery.

Colour Schemes

Now choosing colours for your wedding is probably one of the most important things you will do upon planning your wedding! Making it especially hard when you have so many wonderful colour pallets to chose from. That is why I decided one day to go through pinterest and save any colour schemes that I adored, and with out even knowing it I had chosen the same image 3 times. And the rest was history. Never in a million years would i have thought pink would be in my colours for my wedding but it just so happens that i decided to go with these colours, antique pink, champagne, and a creamy white. Going along with my Marie Antoinette inspired theme for the days events. I will be the Queen france loved and adored before they found out she spent all there money.

Let me know what you think about this elegant and delicate colour pallet.

Favourite looks from the EMA awards 2014

Ariana Grande definitely gave everyone a big surprise letting her hair down on the red carpet in a long navy blue gown featuring key-hole cutouts. I think this is just what this rising pop star needed, a fresh and european inspired look. This gown highlights all of her attributes keeping it elegant with just a little touch of sass. We think the stylists hit the nail on the head with this look. As well as her second outfit a little more scandalous then the first however still more mature then what we are used to seeing her in. This lace bralette with the high waisted satin asymmetric and lace skirt is very in fashion at the moment, as us ourselves have designed similar looks. You just cant go wrong with black lace.

As for Kiesza wearing, what looks like multi a coloured feathered mini dress is one look where we are sitting on the fence as to if we love it or not. It did make it onto the best dressed list and it is Fendi but with the hair and the tanned heels all were seeing is Tucan Sam. It is a well suited dress for Kiesza and her style. As well as  the shape of the dress with the cut outs is quite flattering to her figure. Maybe it is just the colours used that is throwing us off. However it did make a splash on the red carpet and it did its job adding some excitement. I think you either love it or hate it all we know is Kiesza rocked it!

The iconic white dress

The first thing a girl thinks of when planning  her wedding is the man she is going to marry followed closely by the thought of that iconic dress. That dress that promises happiness, love and beauty. The dress you wear as you start the rest of your life. Well that moment is mine now. I  have found the man of my dreams, now it's time to find the dress to match! I have decided to design my own dress and have my teacher, a of master of her craft, create it. I thought I would start by drawing some inspiration from my favourite Bridal designers Berta Bridal from Israel and Sophia Tolli from Australia. Both create stunning and elegant bridal gowns.  My dream wedding gown is top to bottom lace, off the shoulder long sleeve, form fitting with a long train.

Stay with me as I share with you my wedding planning and inspirations.
